The Lunatics: Push, Tumble & Fall

  

      Listen. We don’t always get to choose who we are, I’ve learned that the hard way. I’m Myla.  But that’s not important right now. What’s important is that my Twin Soulmate left me abruptly, and I’m fkn falling apart.  Although I am expected to save the others, I can’t even save myself. Then, one night, when I’m rescuing a dying girl from an overdose, she hands me this strange love letter. “Dear James,” it says.

      Now, you tell me.

     What the steady hell am I supposed to do with that love letter? Care? That’s really funny. Because look. I’ve already lost all faith in all things, and I don’t believe in True Love anymore. So what else is there to care about?

     I might as well be upfront with you.

     If you’re looking for a story with some kind of feel-good superhero, then this is not the tale for you. But if you’re looking for freedom in the forbidden –  then I’m your gal.
