Poll: Greatest Love Songs Ever Written

Dearly DeBloggers,

Because this is such a hard

“It didn’t matter that he had no food to eat, or a place to sleep, or that jet planes were bombing his home town again. The only thing he was concerned about was when he’d see the girl with the raven hair again.” – Unknown.

Love is one of the most basic and fascinating of all the human conditions. Many have tried to explain it throughout the years.

1983 Howard Jones tried to explain with “What is love.”

-Somewhere in 2003 Beyonce and Jay-Z told us with that unforgettably loud and delicious tune simulating it’s   title to the tee:  “Crazy in Love”

– Meanwhile back in 1975, Captain and Tennille were telling us that “Love will keep us together.”

– And in a very grungy 1997, the Foo Fighters gave all Genexers their love anthem…”Everlong.”

But one of the greatest love songs ever written (about love) is non-other than American Composer Stephen Trask. Take a look, and I dare you to not agree with me. Further, what is your favorite love song of all time….

#TheOriginofLove #Hedwig and the Angry Inch

“Six inches forward and five inches back…” If you know what I am talking about, you are probably finishing this sentence in your head right now, or maybe even bobbing your head to the music.

Once upon a time it was cool to know,  and maybe even love (and maybe even attend one of the showings, and maybe-maybe even dress up! as… the Rocky Horror Picture Show…how can we forget the Transvestite from Transylvania? Rocky Horror stood the test of time, generation to generation….

But I am afraid that Hedwig will give them the run for their lives. The most beautiful Non-Gender Hedwig And The Angry Inch.

Its not just a beautiful play, it has exquisite music.
