One of the most rewarding things of being a parent is watching your little ones learn to speak. They can say the cutest things as they learn new words. It is amazing how an everyday word can sound like a completely different word to them. They pronounce all the syllables….but it is a different word all together.
For example. Jackson has discovered Spiderman. But of course, he calls him “Spacheno.” He is crazy about “Spacheno”. If he finds any “Spacheno” shirts, shoes, or socks, everything stops until he has his new “Spacheno” attire.
The funny thing is that I don’t even know how or why he decided to like “Spacheno” since he has never seen any cartoons or movies with “Spacheno.”
Ahhh…the “marvels” of marketing, no pun intended.
Jackson has recently been doing a lot of pointing at Spongebob Squarepants – but I am afraid, that one, even in baby-talk language, may take some time.
